No beach in Malaysia was cold! hahaha

we were so happy :)

Laksa Ikan Seekoq

Assalamualaikum and Hello !!

After returning the rental car, we request a trip to Laksa Power, Jalan Airport. 

It cost me RM4 ( Grab Car )

Upon arrival, Laksa Power Stall was closed and since there was a LOT of stalls there, we chose the MOST-BUSY-STALL and planning to have a taste of Famous Laksa Penang at that stall.

U can see i am struggling lined up with hopes. haha

But, my fate just betrayed me, the person before me managed to order Laksa and he got what he ordered. 

When its time for me to order, IT'S FINISHED!

THE LAKSA THAT I HAD DREAM OF WAS SOLD OUT

i was quite sad and dissapointed, but i had to respond fast cause there was a lot of people lined up before me waiting for their turn to order.

So i ordered Mee Hun Ayam instead.

The Mee was yellow ( probably been soaked by turmeric ) and it is not disappoint me,

it was quite tasty and i didnt regret i ordered it.

Shell Out Chalet @ Langkawi

Assalamualaikum and hello everyone!

Finally, our 3rd day at Langkawi!

and i've choose to stay at Shell Out Chalet. this is probably my cheapest stay!

( with no deposit )

a lot of backpackers stay at this place, 

u can just use the kitchen here (free egg, maggie, bread, etc, -whatever food u saw in the kitchen is free)

u can also use the washing machine for free, but since our flight to Singapore was early in the morning, tomorrow. we didnt use the washing machine.

honestly, the room is quite big, there was also a mini refrigerator inside.

my RM90 was totally worth it!

after check-in, without wasting more time, i drove to the airport being accompanied by Daenerys and My Husband to return the car.

my Next Entry will be sharing about our experience at Laksa Sekoq, Jalan Airport as we drop by on our way back to the chalet.

our flight was as early as 8am, i didnt have enough sleep since i am the wife and mom
( got to pack everyone things ),
 making sure the bags was neatly arranged cause we will be running here and there in Singapore!
dragging too much bag could be troublesome

we went to the airport two hour earlier ( hahahahahahha ) cause its an international flight, i dont want anything bad to happen last minutes. >.<

you got my point right!?

( i might look stupid sometimes, but im very smart - hahahahahaha)

CITY-LINK Express Service from Langkawi with LOVE

Assalamualaikum and Hai!

Today is a good day for sharing this , i guess.

Sebab kami punya holiday ni sambung-sambung,

JB - Penang - Langkawi - Singapore

so barang- barang bawaan memanglah banyak! tambahan lagi ada dua budak kecik, pakaian dan keperluan diorang pun sudah 1 bag luggage penuh! dan ada extra bagpack lg untuk diorang. Belum masuk lagi barang 3 org tua ni, mama pun byk shopping Jeruk Madu Pak Ali masa di Penang tu.

So, i decided untuk pos pakaian-pakaian yang sudah pakai ( x sempat cuci ) hantar balik pg Mersing by pos direct pg rumah. easy!

ingatkan semua akan berjalan lancar, just minta kotak kosong dari kedai, pack dan pos!

but actually its not that easy as i imagine.

rupanya Pos Malaysia TUTUP hari jumaat di Langkawi.

OMG! tu lah tiada buat research pasal tu! huhu

so, kami terpaksa pg CITY-LINK Express dan SKYNET,

lepas buat perbandingan harga, kami pun pg la CITY-LINK Express untuk pos.

Ni encik suami sedang menunggu dengan penuh kesabaran.

Rupa-rupanya pos barang dari Pulau Langkawi ni bukanlah mudah. ada beberapa prosedur yang mesti di patuhi.

Barang-barang haruslah diisytiharkan oleh Kastam, kalau kita tiada prepare packing list, worry not!

City-Link , Sky net dan lain-lain courier service akan provide, so kita hanya perlu isi form tu, bawa barang kita tu pg kastam, barang2 tu akan d scan dan diperiksa oleh pegawai kastam sebelum di cop dan ditandatangan oleh pegawai kastam yang bertugas.

Kalau Pos Malaysia pula, kita x perlu pg ofis kastam tu sendiri sebab di ofis Pos Malaysia tu akan ada pegawai kastam yang bertugas , so kerja lebih mudah la. :)

tapi since Pos Malaysia tutup, kenalah drive pg jeti ( ofis kastam ) untuk uruskan semua tu. :) 

Lepas tu, balik semula ke CITY-LINK Express ofis yang terletak di Persiaran Mutiara 2, Pusat Dagangan Kelana Mas untuk urusan pos pula.

Staf bertugas tu cakap, walaupun kastam sudah cek kotak ni, diorang perlu buka juga kotak tu untuk pastikan tiada barangan terlarang sebab ada satu kes yang melibatkan courier diorang, pengirim ada kirim dadah, sebab kelalaian diorang tidak cek item dalam box tu, diorang di denda dan tidak boleh menjalankan perniagaan selama entah brpa bulan tu x ingat sudah. tapi mcm tu lah ceritanya. hehe

Box ni diorang akan ukur Lebar, Panjang dan Tinggi dulu, lepas tu timbang berat untuk tentukan harga.

 Total harga yang perlu bayar masa tu hanya lah RM28 lebih la bgitu.. Sampai dalam masa seminggu.

Lepas box tu di buka, kami pun di suruh balik. diorang yang akan pack box tu semula..

So, kerja kami selesai di situ dan kami pun meneruskan perjalanan untuk ke destinasi seterusnya.

HIG Homestay Apartment @ Langkawi

Assalamualaikum and Hai!

2nd day at Langkawi, we stay at HIG Homestay Apartment.

Booked from Agoda.com for RM179.89. 

It is initially RM174.14 but i abruptly realize that i've wrongly select the date. so i made an amend through the website and being charged RM5.75. It is actually depends on the 'current price' of the room. So initially, every hour the charge will be different!  

It is really not an easy feeling dealing with money like that, 

( feeling like a gambling )

I felt a surge of anxiety as soon as i repeatedly failed to make a payment.

finally, i need to call the maybank first to inform them to unblock any international transaction. 

I forgot the ' term ' is, but it is quite dangerous because if you unblock it, it will automatically deduct amount of money from your account without asking for TAC number or MSOS CODE. 

yeah, it is very dangerous as they can deduct your money without your concern.

so after made the transaction, i called maybank again and block it back!

fuh! settled. :)

When i first arrived here, we're a bit lost cause "HIG Homestay Apartment" was not in the Google Map. I drop by the HIG Hotel and ask the reception the exact location of this Apartment and they told me the checkin process have to be made at HIG Hotel and they will give me the Gate Pass (for car), Lift Pass and the Apartment Key. 

HIG Homestay Apartment is Langkawi Condo Istana. 

( 140 metre from HIG Hotel )

They dont have security guard at Langkawi Condo Istana, you will drive and park next to the guard house (make sure your both front tyre to be inside the yellow line and wave the Gate Pass from your front mirror and the gate will open for you to enter.

Same goes if you want to exit the Condo.

This time, i booked 'Family Room' but it is actually the whole apartment consist of 3 bedroom, kitchen stove but no pot ( hahaha, useless ), television, iron and all the basic things.

The deposit is RM100. It will eventually returned once checkout.

It do has the indoor pool, but you have to wear a swimwear. so i dont dream about it anymore since i dont bring any to Langkawi.

If i had to compared this to Perdana Beach Resort, 

i am honestly prefer Perdana Beach Resort if im looking for a comfy at my stay.

But, since HIG Homestay Apartment is located at Jalan Penarak, Kuah Town and you only have to walk 140 metre to the HIG Mall (Haji Ismail Group Mall) for shopping.

So this is basically my planning for moving and not stay in 1 hotel instead.

(i guess its kind of my hobbies to stay at different hotel each time go for a holiday. hahaha)

I made this arrangement earlier infront of my computer at Mersing.

My first night will be at Perdana Beach Resort, so i will save more time to travel to Mount Mat Cincang as it is very close.

Second night at HIG Homestay Apartment so my mom ( shoppaholic mom ) can only walk from the condo to the Mall.

and the Third night will be at Shellout Chalet near Chenang Beach to enjoy the sun kissed and sea breeze at Beautiful Langkawi Beach.

Warung Bridge Water

Assalamualaikum and Hai!

Lets continues from the last entry :)

Since we were staying at Perdana Beach Resort and swimming till hungry,

Daenerys, My husband and i managed to walk and tapao some food from Warung Bridge Water.

we had notice from google map , it is only 450m distance. so we better walk :)

aisyaa ni suka jalan2 tapi penakut. so mana2 dia mau pg mesti dia akan tarik bapa dia untuk temankan dia. 

tarik bapa lagi! tengok pemandangan sungai la konon.haha

tiada ambil gambar makanan lagi sebab lapar gila sudah masa tu!

overall, makanan dia OK jg lah.. tidak sedap sangat.tidak juga teruk sangat.

Langkawi Cable Car

Assalamualaikum and Hello!

It is a MUST to go to the Langkawi Cable Car if you went to Langkawi.

It is located in the Oriental Village at the foot of Mount Machinchang. 

Since we were staying at Perdana Beach Resort for Day 1 at Langkawi, 

it is only 9.9km ( approximately 18 minutes drive )

for the ticket, i booked earlier from Travelog.com because,

It is cheaper! The ticket price for Malaysian Adult is RM40 , if you buy from Travelog.com, it is only RM38 (boleh la juga jimat RM6 in total, hahaha).

My mistake is just that i only brought 3 tickets for adult and 'think' that my 2 years old son is FOC. hahaha. what a noob! So, i had to purchase his ticket at the counter, the ticket price for Malaysian Child is RM3.. It is inclusive of entrance for SkyDome, SkyRex and 3D Art Langkawi.

Number 3.

I dont have to bring too much cash on my wallet, obviously, i might forget about all-ticket-to-purchase and think that i still have a lot of cash with me and tend to use it carelessly. 

( lesson learned )

it is too hot, even we brought hat and put it on all the time, the hotness of the sun still burnt my face

i know my son's weakness now. he is a little scared to walk over the suspension bridge.

there is a manmade lake (i guess) inside, you have tp purchase the fish food if you want to feed it. it is only RM1

this is inside the 3D Art Langkawi, i forgot that we could also enter the Skydome and SkyRex, so we didnt go there. (i just realize it when writing this entry and read through the booking receipt)

the skycab didnt stop even for a second! so you have to be fast and careful . make sure you didnt leave any of your belonging behind or else you will never see it again. haha

sempat lagi budak ni menyusu dalam tu! Daniyal memang berani. boleh2 dia melompat di dalam tu. buruk sudah muka kami marah dia. huhuhu.

My little model is so cute.

the experience we got that day was priceless , this is my first time riding a Sky Cab and im all happy!

there is so much things to do and explore in Langkawi, but i had to think about the safety of my kids. I wanted so much to go hiking, snookling and feeding an eagle at Langkawi but im afraid my hyper kids will jump out of the boat abruptly in the middle of the tour. hahahaha

so, i had to consider that possibilities and let it stay on my bucket list a little while longer..

we will come back and explore more some day. :)
